The Gift of Sight (Southampton) and Riding for the Disabled Association (Brockenhurst) are wonderful local charities and on February 28th Ocean Harmony Barbershop Chorus, plus a wide range of other musical and dancing supporting acts, will be staging their annual Showtime Concert to raise funds for these good causes. The concert will be held at the Colbury Memorial Hall in Ashurst. Curtain up 7-30pm.
The Gift of Sight Charity was established with the aim of funding world-class research into the prevention and treatment of blindness. Their research team is dedicated to furthering the understanding of the causes and treatments of blinding eye diseases. With local funding they aim to ensure vision into the future and for those who are suffering today.
Riding for the Disabled has been carrying out life-changing activities for over 40 years, and take great pride in the exceptional standard of their instructors and volunteers. Through the Brockenhurst Branch they offer equestrian activities for all age groups and, wherever possible, to people with any disabilities.
