Glyn Perrins
With retirement looming Glyn Perrens joined one of Ocean Harmony’s successful “Learn to Sing’ courses in 2022.
He shone throughout the 10-week course, joined the lead section, was named the Most Improved Singer of 2023 and took over as chairman in January 2025.
Glyn recalled: “Having always wanted to be able to sing I went along to see what they could offer and was told ‘we can all learn to sing’. This was a revelation, as was the support and welcome that I received from other members of Ocean Harmony.”
The retired social housing sector worker added: “I’m keen to continue the aims that have been set by previous chairmen and want to encourage more people to realise that they can sing and that singing with others is a real buzz.
“Ocean Harmony is a friendly and supportive group of men that love to sing, I would like others to share in that experience.”
